Deborah Binun

Deborah Binun was born and raised in London. She attended Haberdasher’s School, obtained her first degree at Birmingham University and returned to London to complete her Masters Degree in Psychotherapy and Counseling at The Regents School of Psychotherapy.
Deborahs Masters thesis was focused on women with an extreme fear of childbirth and she subsequently worked as a psychotherapist in London specializing in pregnancy and birth related issues, including post natal depression and birth trauma.  Deborah went on to train in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, the treatment of choice for post-traumatic stress disorder after birth.  She currently runs groups for women who have had upsetting or traumatic birth experiences.
Passionate about supporting women before and after birth, and having conquered her own fear of childbirth, Deborah set up Birth Free (www.birthfree.com) and became a Hypnobirthing Practitioner after the birth of her first son.  She currently runs Hypnobirthing courses to teach tools and techniques to couples enabling women to have shorter, more comfortable birth experiences where they can remain calm and free from panic, feeling empowered and in control ready to begin their journey into motherhood.
Deborah immigrated to Israel in September 2011 with her husband and two young sons.
